60ft times - Drag Radials and AWD
I'm getting a stage 2 tune now. At the strip, will drag radials help get better then 1.7/1.8 60 that I read the street tires get?
Do you guys run 4xDR or 2xDR on rear?
Or is a futile attempt because of the TCU?
Any data?

If you can’t do a burnout with AWD then you won’t get the full potential out of drag radials unless you go hardcore and get full tire warmers as well. You’d be better off with a top tier street tire.

Thank you, well said. This makes perfect sense. I forgot about getting heat into the drag tires that they need to stick.

We can’t really launch hard enough that DR’s will make any difference. I get no wheel spin in my tuned 4matic when launching on a prepped track

so I have UHP all seasons and I get a little wheel spin and some lateral motion when I launch ... I'm sure if I went back to summers I would be like your setup and no wheel spin
