What motor oil for your 63?
Hi all,
I'm looking for some motor oil suggestions for M157 engine. My previous 63 car had a sticker that recommended Mobil 1 so I was thinking using the same brand;
Mobil 1 euro car formula 0W40.
I want to move away from the MB oem oil because of its 5W40 rating. it gets extremely cold here in the winters (-20C) so thought the extra temperature range into the cold extremes would be beneficial.

Used Mobil1 for years and just switched to Liqui Moly 5w40 (live in hot florida) and noticed a significant improvement in start up noise and overall valvetrain noise. I am seeing if it also burns more or less than Mobil1.

Liquimoly. Quieter at startup and idle,and slightly reduced my oil consumption..
