Hey everyone! Just wanted to re-introduce myself in the forums as last week I picked up my new (to me) 2014 E63S! The car was a local trade in and is already RennTech tuned with AMS Catless Downpipes and H&R Lowering Springs. I absolutely love it so far and coming from a 981 Porsche Cayman S I'm thoroughly enjoying the added comfort and practicality for daily use. This is technically my 2nd AMG car with my first being a 2014 C63 that wasn't for me and I only kept for about a week lol. It's also my 3rd MB if you include my wife's current GLC300.
The car is damn near perfect and the only thing I plan on changing is putting the OEM DPs back on for a little bit of a smoother idle and to get rid of the gas smell outside the car. If anyone is in the market for Catless DPs shoot me a message!
your idle issue may be plugs ... when were they last changed?
Thank you! The car has 40k miles on it and has all servicing done up to the 50k mike service done at Mercedes dealerships. The spark plugs haven’t been done yet as I think the first time those come up is the 60k service?
The vibrating is intermittent and doesn’t do it at all in Neutral or park. It feels to be originating from the DPs but maybe could be spark plugs?

With a tune plugs need to be done every 10k miles and gapped to 0.022

Thanks for the input! The one thing I found odd is people
mention that when it’s plugs the car still vibrates in park and neutral which mine doesn’t. Nevertheless if swapping out the DPs doesn’t do the trick I’ll try that.

A constant vibration is different than the vibes of a rough idle ... constant vibes suggest mounts and uneven vibes suggest engine components -- certainly this is not an absolutely but a direction to consider
what does the tach do at idle closed throttle? Does it dance around? If so how many rpms is the range of dancing
