Hello everyone,

Wanted to ask for advise. I'm currently looking at a CPO 2014 E63S AMG w/ 63k miles on it. MB dealership is asking for $43k. No accidents reported, 1 owner and complete maintenance service records available(most of the service was provided by the selling dealership).

Packages included: Driver assistance package, AMG surround view camera package , Power Tilt/Sliding Panorama Sunroof and AMG 19" Twin 5-Spoke Wheels.

What do you think would be a good price for this car? I was thinking $40K will be a great price? Then maybe buy an 2 yr Extended warranty to add to the CPO for a total of 3 years?

May be about time for a brake job on that car. You should check and see or ask dealer to put new brakes on all around as part of the deal.

Is it a requirement for the brakes & rotors to be replaced or good condition before a vehicle can be CPO by MB dealer?

There's a certain thickness of the pads for it to be cpo but cpo can be a scam .... get a private third party inspection, have them use a paint meter and look for evidence of accidents nonetheless

Price vary base on options. make sure all the goodies were done. brakes, mounts, trans and brake fluid flush,

Wow I wish I live in the USA. For 2014 E63s are still going for around $65,000 for a $120-140K car in Canada.

To me that’s a crazy good deal.

The forged twin five spokes are rare ... if in great shape they are worth $3k alone on a private sale +\-

cpo status adds extra cost of course

i would put this car at $35-38k Pre tax title and license and doc fees

I think the brake pads need to have >50% of the original pad, otherwise it will be replaced. You can ask the dealer to itemize exactly what 'reconditioning' services were done on the vehicle.

I just bought my CPO W213 and I got my money's worth in reconditioning.

- Replaced front pads & rotors
- Replaced rear pads
- Replaced 2 rear tires
- Alignment
- 50K mile service (spark plugs, brake fluid, etc..)

With warranty - low 40s.

In reality - if you pay $39k or $43k doesn't matter as lon gas it's the right car.
