Driverside seat side bolster air bladder leaking air
Hi all
My driverseat side bolster air bladder is leaking.
My Mercedes workshop comfermed that that is the case. Everything else in the seat is working, it is just the right side air bladder that is dead.
And he says you can only buy a whole complete system, not just that one. (a lot of money)
I have been looking around for several hours to buy just that one. Does anyone here know where to find that one?
And does anyone know if it is the same seat as W216 CL550 CL63? In that case I may have found one...

Speaking of, my 2016 E63 side bolsters don’t move as much as my 2014 E550 did, even on the two-bar setting. I’ve tried taking aggressive .9g turns to see if it takes more effort to get maximum squeeze, but no avail. Probably only half the “hug” as the 550.
Anyone have a similar experience coming from different cars? Normal?

I'm totally impressed that I can't find such a part! And I've been looking for days!!!!
OK, It's probably just pay 923 USD to repair that I guess....

Reine, I read thru it this morning. It’s a fairly involved process that spawns multiple other processes. I’ll start pulling some of the documents for you as soon as I can figure a way to get them over to this forum.

I'll let you know how it goes, but it will take some time. I will only work on this for maybe one hour a week, or something like that.
These kind of jobs stress me out and I need to take it very slow...have no patience at all these days.
