Is there anything specific I should look for before making my purchase. It’s a one owner car and seems like it’s in pretty good shape but I don’t know what to expect as far as mechanical things. 65,000 miles. I don’t want to get in over my head. Any advice or help would be appreciated.

I always get a pre purchase inspection. My last car I bought (2008 E63) I was able to have about $4K taken off the price based on what the PPI found. Even if you do not get any money off the deal it is nice to know what condition the car is in so you can make an informed decision about your purchase.

Nice looking car. I really miss my 2012, sorry I ever traded it in for the 2018 I had. Make sure the brakes are good, brake jobs are expensive on these cars. Find a good independent auto service place that specializes in Mercedes to do maintenance and service work, you will save a lot of money if they are good and they will keep your car in tip top shape. Look in the manual to make sure you are up to date with any maintenance work you need done such as brake fluid flushes, air filters, cabin filter etc. Great cars. They really don't have a heck of lot of issues for such a complex car, well built.

Just not the car for me, way too stiff and ride was horrible. The 2012 I had was more luxury car like feel, I drove that car 50K miles, of course it did not handle as good as the 2018 but thats ok. I like a car that is more on the luxury side so thats one reason I'm driving a E450 wagon now, of course not as fast as the amg but it is a better car for the type of driving I do.

Check the inside edges of the tires. Especially fronts. My sedan (CPO) came with a lot of wear due to the suspension geometry. Had the car aligned and it's better but still wears excessively on the inside edges. Would have been smart of me to check that on delivery and insist on new tires.

Thats a good deal, these cars become more and more rare. I did a trade on mine a couple years ago and got 45K for it but that was too a dealer and it was 2 years ago. I traded it for a 2015 S550 with 20K miles on it plus 20 grand so I was happy at the time. I found the 2015 S550 to be a little too floaty and a little too boaty for me. Traded that car a year later for my current 2019 E450 Wagon and am happy with it, it's a good compromise.

I found a white one too. Another 13. Tempting. The 13s have more cooling capacity too than the 12s.

that's a good deal! miles are a bit high but if there hasn't been probs, you're probably good to go for a long time (cept for the brakes.. them gd squeaky expensive **** $$$ rotors) Congrats!

If that car had Distronic I'd probably be very interested. Ideally If I could find something with Distronic, other than black interior and the Bang and Olsen Audio option I'd buy it. I guess all these options together are probably extremely rare so I'm probably just dreaming here, lol. I'll keep looking for now and hope that something comes up eventually, no great rush.

Looks good to me, I kinda like the lighter colors myself. Might want to try deep cleaning the floor mats and if that does not work you could just replace them.

That's the same interior color as my mom's W211 as well as my old W210 wagon... lol. But hey, it's a good deal!

I had this color combo in one of my wagons and I went with a dark brown mat with a nice discrete logo on it. helps reeduce some of the lightness and hides some of the dirt.
