Very displeased with Eurocharged Tune, violent 2-3 in S+
I would prefer a local dyno tune. That way I can make sure they get it right before I leave ha. Be to my knowledge, there aren't any here
The comparison was approx 428 hp and 521 tq from Weistec flash for $2100, ouch!
Eurocharged was approx 480 hp and 528 tq for $1299 + $399 for handheld device. Better deal but??????
Had a 2018 M4 with VR tune from Vivid Racing and that did not work well. Power gain was very obvious but had issues shutting down at high speeds, Limp Mode if that is what it's called. Got rid of car so never really got to enjoy as much as I would have liked. It was Violent when you got on it at the right time.
Had an XKR modified with ECU, Pulley and exhaust work done. No issues ever.
So would like to get feedback on the C450.
Thank you

car; 2016 E63 AMG s (awd) -- Stage 2 Eurocharged tune..
I had consistent challenges with misfires and at times jerky/violent shifting or stutter shifting .. but main focus were misfire. I went through:
1) Try 2 different tunes - full and 10% pulled back - several trips to dealer to check injectors, coils, plugs -- kept saying all need replaced -- compression, ash count etc. all good.
2) Replaced camshaft solenoids/sensors -- learned oil in wiring harness needs to be a routine maintenance on this car - especially top left camshaft sensor..
3) Put in a set of plugs NGKs 97506
4) Gas quality (adding 2.5 gal of 100) -- helped misfire caused a lot of knock.
5) Learned indexing is important - put in new OEM Bocsh newer version .0022
6) Replace all coils
7) Got pissed off - emailed Jerry, he had a technician contact me --Shawn(sp?) recommended getting TCU/ECU software updates at the dealer
8) Flashed back to stock - Paid $250 - updated TCU and ECU software, resent image and re-applied tune
9) Problem seems to be solved

On a side note, Matt was great. Very knowledgeable about the car, and even started up his personal M5 so I could hear what catless sounded and smelled like in real life. That will probably be my next change. All in all a great experience, and I am very happy so far.

Happy to hear that the TCU flash fixed it for you. I actually talked to Matt about your issue while I was there. Luckily mine was fresh flashed before purchase, at least from what I was told...... fingers crossed.

REAR - Male-Female Threaded Hex Standoff 18-8 Stainless Steel, 13 mm Hex Size, 25 mm Long, M6 x 1.00 mm Thread Size 93655A257 2 each
You need two of the short ones and two of the long ones from what I saw in the other post. Short ones for the front of the ECU and long ones for the rear. I was not able to find them anywhere but the McMaster-Carr website. And I looked for a while. Price is not too bad. Less than what I spend on beer at the golf course.

This the answer I got from a friend who owns a shop that sells ecu and tcu tunes for our cars.
For the price that a dealer would charge, it almost makes more sense to just buy the tool and figure out how to do it ourselves, y'know?
Point being, see if timing is the cause.

biggest issue was the shifting problem OP described. Tried it at the track and was slower with tune and crappy shifting on 2-3. Wasted $1200. Never tried to get money back but I should have. Tried atleast 5 tunes. All the same result. ☹️
