If this w213 wheel can go on a w212 ... then can a gt wheel go on a w213.... do that math and you'll have your answer

thats not a direct replacement. you cant just go buy the new style wheel and install it. the wheel needs to be programmed for an older model. need to find a reputable shop to get it done for youOriginally Posted by PeterUbers

But i know there are some sources on here that will show you how to do the swap.
If you want to shoot me a pm i can send you some pictures showing how to do the chip swap
i will need a picture of your current board front and back. for this you will need to take it out of the black box on the back on the center plate.

A fellow MBWorld member, Sammy.e63s, has done steering wheel swap on his W212 to an updated version (I dunno what model MB his updated wheel is, but definitely newer than the one that comes in our cars) As stated on his post, it's plug and play. Company that sells these is RUCarbon on IG. Carbon and alcantara bits are customizable. Hope this helps.
