Solo Motorsports TCU

Hi everyone,

I have a cls63 but this forum is a little more active so i'm asking here.

I was wondering if anyone had any first- hand experience with the tcu tune from solo motorsports? Seems like a good value at $1200 USD with the flashing cable provided.

I initially wanted the tcu from 5soko but it can only be done in person and I am not local to Senad.

Eurocharged has a TCU tune as well(a couple, actually). Are you close to any of their shops?

I'm in south Carolina so not really. I think they can remotely tune the tcu though

I believe Eurocharged can remotely do the TCU tune. However, they have a shop in Orlando. While that's not exactly the closest thing to SC, it's maybe 5 hours depending on where you are. You could do that and back in a day, or you could make a weekend out of it.

many tuners nowadays including EC have their own flasher software that can do the tcu remotely but they will ship you the obd/cable before.

That would be fun! Eurocharged's tcu tune is also $1999 vs $1200 for Solo's

Morendi has a Tcu tune for about $800 as well.
Not really sure why the price varies so much between different tuners.

Yeah, when I spoke to Boris at Solo Motorsports he said that he would ship the cable.

Would love to hear a report from anyone with the Solo tune. I'm only 3 hrs from Atlanta.

I have some messages with Boris and apparently his TCU tune removes the torque limits altogether.
There is one person running 9 sec 1/4 mile times with his TCU tune (per Dragy). But that car also makes 900whp!

I guess I was looking for something closer to the 5soko stage 1 tcu tune as I'm afraid to break the output shaft on the transmission if the tcu isn't interfering at all due to no torque limit.

My thoughts exactly. Might work for a street car that doesn't hook

Also, here's the link to the Facebook post in the group. Not sure if you can view it unless you're a part of the group.

The TCU tune that is on the 9 second car is from EDOK in Germany, at the time solo was selling them. He no longer is a provider for them.

That would be up to the owner who got his car flashed. He would have had the option from edok to choose what he likes in terms of limits.
