E63 Wheel Spacers revisited W212
I have stock 19” forged staggered twin spoke wheels with 255 and 295 PS4S F/R and want the flush look.
I read this thread here on 5mn, 10mm, 12mm hub centric spacers:
https://mbworld.org/forums/w212-amg/...installed.html
So I grabbed a straight edge across the tires measured to the fenders and was getting bigger numbers:
LF 15
RF 17
LR 12
RR 12
Camber of the wheels skewing measurements?
I researched more and saw this video on how to measure using a level and a piece of wood at 90 degrees:
I got smaller numbers using that method:
LF 10
RF 12
LR 8
RR 8
Which method measuring is correct?
What size spacers?
Camber part of measurements using straight edge on tire
Level to ground measurements

After you have done all this work measuring and stuff... I am gonna throw a monkey wrench in your works, lol!
I believe you said in another thread you have the KW HAS sitting on the shelf cuz you sorta didn't want more headaches after the two months spent on your CCB upgrade, correct?
Well.... ya know that your camber will change once you drop your car... right?

Anyone know of a good hub centric 10 or 12mm front spacer that works with our factory wheels and wheel covers?
HR has 10mm rear but jump to 15mm for ones they list will work on the front:
https://www.hrsprings.com/applicatio.../25/1539/2016/
Or, maybe 15 works great on the front with the original way I measured with the fronts being 15 and 17mm tucked?!
Argh my brain.

Did you check out ECS Tuning?
ECS Tuning W212 Spacers
These are the ones from the video I sent you before.

LOL
I just ordered the 10mm H&R from Amazon. I guess I can do the ECS for the fronts since the HR say "REAR ONLY"
Now to find some lugs.

Yes! I admit it! LOL! But, since H&R doesn't make the 12mm ones... what's a boy to do?!

In another life I was Mechanical Engineer with a Machine Tool Operator certificate. So technically I could design and even make anything. I say technically because even though I knew how to design, everything I physically made looked like Homer Simpson made it. Everyone else's looked like jewelry.

If I can’t find good quality 12’s in stock anywhere I’m trying HR 15mm on the front.
When I think of it, 10mm on the rear makes sense because I have 295 vs 285, 5mm/side.

Glad to hear some stuff is not "super back ordered"!
You ever considered doing a stud conversion? That way you won't have to worry about getting different length lug bolts when trying out different size spacers

Looks like these will do for non titanium studs:

Thank you for the idea!

Scratch that, on more reading the studs without a shoulder can get loose. Also on installation the non threaded part of the studs can go too deep into the hub ruining threads. Better to get a name brand with shoulder stud kit.
Also - dang it - the ECS spacer's just went out of stock again. I was alerted by email it is back to December. LOL. It's hard finding correct info on what will work on the front due to hub height, inner wheel bevel, combined with spacer chamfer (or not).
