No CEL catless downpipes without a tune. Anyone successful?
With nothing else changed, installing catless downpipes will obviously trigger a check engine light.
Has anyone successfully found a way around this?
I ask because in other platforms, for example my f430, people have either installed extenders, mini cats, 02 sims etc etc and have successfully avoided a CEL.
I could not find any examples of people trying that here however so I figured I would ask.
Option two, which I would love to pursue if possible, is to code out the rear O2 sensors with xentry. Anyone here do that?
Believe the way all the tuners do it has to do with changing and a setting for the o2 readiness.
I've started doing the research, just figured I'd check to see if anybody else has already done the homework.

Surely with almost every other car being a Tesla or EV on the road we are already making a great reduction in CO2 emissions, no?
I mean, look at how many dirty ICE engines are off the roads, surely we don't have to scrutinize emissions from our cars, we can relax and make a few more V8 engines this decade
Or... Is it maybe that the emissions aren't lowered with all the EV's out there... hmmm...
