New to me 2013 E63 questions.

Hello All,

So I have had the car for about 4 months now and have put about 5K miles on it. the previous owner had decent maintenance records, and was a German car guy, and pilot. most pilots are meticulous about all their vehicles so I figure he maintained it well, and had just had an "A Service" before I purchased the car.

So I am about to do a full service on the car, Oil change, plugs and coil connectors, cam sensors, and magnets. I saw a small trace of oil in one magnet connector when I checked them last week.. I cleaned with CRC, but realize it needs to be replaced so I figure I will do all of them. I want to do a trans service as I have no record of it being done before, is there anything special that has to be done with the MCT 722.9? I am guessing it is a blue fluid trans, especially since it is a 2013. So I guess that is my main question, do I do the service like a TC 722.9 or is there extra steps. Also still need to get a new Xentry/DAS, to work with the newer cars that we have now, I would really like to set my cluster to North America to see if it fixes my speedometer and change my temps from C to F. So taking recommendations on where to buy. I bought my C3 from @shardul but I am not even sure he is on the Forum any longer.

Also do the M157 have a propensity to use a little oil? the M113K used less than a quart per 5K miles, but this car burns about a quart every 3500 from what I can tell.
Thanks All!

Changing the trans fluid does have a very specific process which needs to be followed - you can find WIS maintenance documents on that and other items in the below thread:

Yes, it has been reported that the M157 has a propensity to burn a little oil; some more than others.

With frequent aggressive driving even the manual says the m157 will eat a quart every few thousand miles ... however most of owners on here don't report their oil consumption to be as aggressive as yours.

i have 46k on a tuned 2014 and had to add oil about 4 times since I bought it brand new in 2014.

Per the above posted thread by @BCP looks like my consumption might be on the low side. LOL

Hey,
Does anyone know if its okay to run catless downpipes on a stage 1 tune? 2014 e63 amg to be specific. I am aware CEL turns on but is it bad for the car in any way?

U asked this question on 3 diffrent threads. Yes u can run catless even on a stock car. Only reason s2 tune needs Catless is because of the increased boost over s1/stock
