W213 brakes fitment
Does anyone know if the W213 brakes will bolt to the W212?
I think the rear calipers are different but unsure about the rest. Anyone know?

Thank you
I'm wondering if my W212 CCB front rotors and calipers will fit the front of a W213
The rears I'm pretty sure the calipers are different, I'm wondering if at least the rotors fit the rears
Goal is to move my brakes to a W213 and only have to buy two rear W213 gold calipers...

W212 The rear rotor is 212-423-14-12
W212 The front rotor 231-421-16-12
W212 front calipers are 212-421-9798 and 212-421-9998
A W212 vin with CCB is WDDHF7EBXDA723252
This thread shows the rear calipers will not work on the W213:

I'm hoping maybe everything else will work dimensionally even if the part numbers are different.

I'm guessing the master cylinder is different 212 vs 213 . Wonder if it's significant enough to cause any issue .. yes rear calipers they changed the whole setup on the 213's. I was initally going to swap to ccb's on my 212 . But kind of shifted my efforts into a 213 search as well ha.

213 used a 390mm front rotor. 212 use a 360mm rotor.
A 212 with 15mm spacers or the solo motorsports brakets can use 213 rotors.
a 212 with ceramics uses a 402mm rotor... i have not found an alternative for this yet.
as for calipers i ~think~ the 212 and 213 use the exact same caliper, but the 212 uses a bracket to bolt to the knuckle and the 213 bolts directly to the knuckle. this is based on a close visual inspection side by side

To buy the W213 brakes new separately is more than double the price of the factory option so it just stings even more, salt in the wound

Not to mention my VIN will never have the B07 code.
I've been hounding my dealer to get me the parts cheaper and have them put them on when the car is delivered, they are looking into it but I don't really trust they are trying that hard. So if I can move mine over to the W213 when it comes and only have to buy two rear calipers I will save $20k. Plus probably I could sell the W213 brand new takeoffs and just put jobbers on my W212 to trade it/sell it...

I was able to source great rotors . There's a couple of different manufacturers. The problem is the quality varies between them all. Imagine laying out 8-9k to find out it's subpar and won't last. It wasn't easy and definitely cost me good money paying for just sample disc for me to find the manufacturer that had the top notch material and product, but only sell a minimum amount of rotors if you want them. I feel throwing stock sized high quality carbon ceramic was the best choice . Easy to install, long lasting and easy to swap out for steels in the winter if it's a daily . And perfect for the guy trying to get the most performers and remove a bunch of weight . Each rotor weight is 13.7 lb . That is about 86 lb removed from going from stock and about 44 lbs from giro disc 2 piece . I think that's fantastic imho. There's no guess work when I tackle a project or product . As you can see I had all rotors so that I can do a real comparison and not just guess . Factory ccb, 2 piece giro with titanium hardware, stock 1.5 piece and A2d performance direct fit carbon ceramic .

Respect!
I looked at that option and am not ashamed to admit that I'm a label ***** and just love the gold calibers, shiny MB discs, and "oooh! Nicely Optioned!" comments by the people that know.
It's man jewelry.

I'm guessing the rear rotors/discs are different in the e-brake area to accommodate the different e-brake function on the newer W213 calipers. . Makes sense.
Much appreciated!

It’s ok -just today- I found a 2023 with CCB and bought it.
