Wrong date in the GPS or wrong on the satellite

I have the wrong date and time in my E63 2010.
The time is easy to change, but the date and year don't really work.
I enter the secret menu and go to GPS information. It says 2004/03/12. I can change the year and date and time there, but it goes back to 2004/03/12 right after I change.
I'm starting to wonder if the satellite is sending wrong information. Or has the car lost connection? (The GPS works fine) See pictures. I live in Sweden.
Is anyone else having the same problem?

The last pitcure: Should it be auto or manual?

2014 E63S; AMS 100 octane ECU dyno tune; EDOK TCU tune; BB intakes; sprintbooster
If you havent, post in the w212 non amg forum to get more traction ... same ntg in 2010 non amg cars, good luck and my guess is it needs a software update

try setting date with key in position one

RENESAS ...

I used to work for Renesas near Mountain view California in their crypto chip applications.

The NTG COMAND Module is manufactured by Mitsubishi the parent company of Renesas general electronics. The Mercedes head unit is likely assembled overseas in Japan or Vietnam.

It's unlikely the GPS satellites are all sending wrong data to your car only !
  1. Scan the car for fault codes
  2. Reboot car to sanitize networked modules
  3. Use scanner to read NTG Module PID: functional?

DO NOT USE "FACTORY RESET" option on NTG.
