Thinking about selling your E63 S wagon? Let's connect!
I joined the forum last year to learn about E63 S wagons. I have read through many of the forum archives and learned so much about these cars. Thanks to all the great contributors here.
I am now actively shopping for the right E63 S wagon. Sadly many are neglected or being sold by sketchy used car dealerships with no service history.
This is something I plan to keep for many years, so I want to find a well-maintained example.
I am a enthusiast. To me, every car has a story. I am looking for a car that has been enjoyed by a fellow enthusiast and is now ready for the next chapter in its story. The chapter I am writing will include:
- road trips around the pacific northwest
- visiting state and national parks
- Silver State Classic Challenge
- hauling books for local library
- relaxing drives in the countryside listening to jazz music
If you are an enthusiast whose E63 S wagon needs a new home, let's connect. I would love to make a new friend and facilitate a smooth transaction. Open to all US-spec cars.
Thank you,
täglich
Worth the wait.. you'll find a good one with patience .. If I trade/locate one I'll PM you

Yes that is the event. I participated many years ago and have always wanted a car that could get me there in comfort.
There are similar events in other parts of the country:
Nebraska - Sandhills Open Road Challenge
Texas - Big Bend Open Road Race
Budget: Flexible.
Criteria: Distronic Plus. Flexible on everything else.
I am not in a rush.
I usually keep cars for a very long time, so I want one that has been properly maintained.
Unique colors tend to resonate with me.
You should start a thread about your Dolomite wagon!
It'll be cheap, since it's high mileage (120k currently), but in good condition, oil analysis every change, never modded, etc.
I can definitely let you know if we trade one or I see one at auctions
So today, I thought let me just see how serious this guy is and sent him a message that I am not looking to sell mine but if he could make me an offer I can't refuse, it's yours
The guy forgot my E63s has 48K miles
White/black interior (a rare combo indeed)
Fidelity extended platinum warranty for 2+ more years (no claim in 3 years)
Dealer serviced
All original paint
PPF and ceramic coated
Ceramic brakes (bought with 10K miles- total 15K miles) and brand new OEM brake pads
Velose Forged black wheels with almost new MPSS (less than 5K miles)
Lowered
So, Instead of making me an offer the guy replies back " waste of time"?
Not sure what he has in mind by making this WTB ad but this is not how you respond to a PM
You need to be realistc with how rare these wagons are and you can't really ***** much when one does pops up for sale
So to folks who're thinking about selling their wagon's, please don't waste your time with this tool.

So please don't waste time with this tread---you'd be wasting your time
- to make an offer on a car not for sale, so why bother since he would have to highball the offer?
- Or waste of time because your car isn't to his specs/liking?
Not arguing .... just confused
I would love to hear why only reply "Waste of time" and not even ask a single question about the car or the price? I am sure he would come up with a good answer LOL
Make me an offer I can't refuse is a car lingo meaning, make me a resonable offer and not a KBB value, that's all it is

Faast sent me a Private Message about their wagon. They did not tell me color, or options, or VIN, or location, or price.
They did say "have no intention of selling" and "wondering how bad you want it" and "Asking price: make me an offer I can't refuse."
I replied: waste of time
Now Faast posts in this thread to impugn my character?
I stand by my reply.
Thanks for the free bump.

Unfortunately, my wagon wasn't what he was looking for, but was a good experience.
