Anyone try running 245/35 R19 wheels non staggered?

I bought a set of SKU:177-401-24-00-7X71 AMG wheels off a guy because I always wanted that style and wanted to stick with OEM instead of going aftermarket. He told me they were staggered and came off a c63s so i didn’t dive too deep into fitment. So turns out they are 9inch all around and 52ET instead of the 9/9.5 37/52 MB calls for.

anyone know if these can still work?
im currently running the 18inch 255/40r18 285/35R18 with 12mm spacers on front and back to make the wheels flush.

Do you need any modifications to use that center cap?

The cap threads into the rim, the cebter cap covering the hub pops out and is interchangeable though.

Looks like it will fit, but it basically just says you’re left with 10mm clearance.

yeah, may not be a total wash - worth trying unless you wanna use a spacer and don't mind them sticking out a smidge (only if they rub on full lock)

next big issue - you have a 2010, will the wheel clear the caliper in the front

I mounted just the rim with the 15mm spacer and it clears the calliper and the distance between the rim and strut is tight but no tighter than stock with no spacer, so I’m going to roll the dice and get tires put on.

I am not C63 wheel expert, but I really doubt a C63S runs a square set up... much less a ET52 out front. This sounds a lot more like this guy sold you a set of reps.
As for fitment, yes, using a 15mm spacer at the front should yield you the ET37 that's required.

I ran a square set up in the winter on my C63, but cannot remember the offset.

I also run a square set up for the winter wheels/tires on the e63. Swap front and rears to try and keep the wear even.

I am sure you CAN run a square set up. Almost anything is possible with enough tire stretch, negative camber and spacers. I meant from factory (I missed that bit). And while you run a square set up... I am still gonna guesstimate you are not running a +50 (especially not in the front).

thanks, maybe I’ll mount a set of all seasons on the rims and then at the very least I can use them as a winter set.

Why do all season for a winter only tire?

because I have a stock set with new summers and live in Canada. I ran continental all seasons on my c63 and drove it a bit in the winter and liked them.

My point is once You drive a winter tire in snow , You will never use an all season again.

@Rehabguy

You are correct. I would not run a +50.

Winter tires are a square set up of 255/35/19

@tuters

Living in Canada I would run a winter tire vs. an all season in the winter.

I put all seasons on replacing the P Zero OEM tire for the summer, but still use winter tires in the winter. The Conti DWS06+ can manage winter conditions safely, but slowly. A winter tire is better in all ways. I use the all season to help manage with an early snow fall in October, or a late snow fall in May. This allows me to avoid putting on the winter tires too early, or taking them off too late.

Having been caught in unexpected snow with the P Zero, will never do that again.
