Square wheel setups on S212 E63s

Any square wheel setups that folks are running? I'm looking at a set of Apex forged wheels and daily drive to the tune of 20k miles per year and would be interested in rotating tires to get a little more life out of them. I have the attached options and have to run a 5mm spacer with the Apex wheels if I want to run the center caps. I am running stock suspension. Thanks in advance for any help

W212 E63S Wagon - GSL580 - E63 - E350 - C300
My W212 2011 has 19's on all four corners for that very reason...when I get back home I will check the size. It was a HUGE PITA to find a wheel that would fit over the calipers, fit the offset and fit front and rear.

Not my car. That wagon belonged to a dude who went by "Jimmez" up in Canada. He owns/works at a shop up there and he played around with wheel set ups a lot. He def. had good wheel fitment knowledge on W212s.

What wheels are those?

Found it in one of your previous posts. Those look sharp.

@ThreeSix - why debadge and then get personalized plate with E63 WAG? Sort of defeats the purpose? Just curious.

Is that actually your car? I saw those pictures with the clear silvers on their website.

And no rub? Looks like rears are close.

Thank you

yes, this was my car. I worked with Apex to get some fitment options for our platform.

There was zero rub in the rear, no fender modifications at all.

Thank you. When I reached out via the web I just got a reply of "you can find some fitment options for that platform on our web site." There are actually quite a few options but wanted to talk it through with someone. Appreciate your responses.

the tires were 265/35R19 Falken RT660, which run a bit wider than your typical Michelin Pilot Sport 4S in the same size

E63 Wagon
I run 19.9.5 ET50 all around with 20mm spacer up front, still left the 285/30x19 on rear off old wheels and put 265/35x19 up front. I reduced front camber form -2, to -1.7, and got tiny bit of rubbing on a not-rolled little big of front fender just by the bumper: will roll that section.

Next is to try 285/30x19 on the front, same Michelin 4S as current 265s.
I will have to measure the front fitment, to find the right spacer size to use to clear strut and fenders.

I am undecided on 19x10s.
I was meaning 265/35x19 square, hence 19x9.5
After fitting 265, I still found it is "front traction limited" in hard cornering, so will try 285 on 9.5, and research to see if 10" will give significantly better better support to 285 to benefit front side-bite-traction or not.
10" wheel is heavier, and I have to purchase again, both negatives. Current wheels are 19lbs each, so reduced unsprung weight - which in all honesty I did not feel. Yes, I expected change in feel, there was none. But front end grip is UP by stepping from OEM 255/35 on 9" to 265/35 on 9.5", say 10% up. I need last 5%, maybe 285 on 9.5 will do that, to get it totally front to rear balanced, for backroad. bombing on California Mountains-Canyon roads.

Thanks for sharing @ThreeSix - your setup looks awesome.

I'm looking to get the ML-10RT in the ET25 (ET20 with the caps).

Do you get rubbing in the front with your +20 setup? TIA
