There was zero rub in the rear, no fender modifications at all.
Next is to try 285/30x19 on the front, same Michelin 4S as current 265s.
I will have to measure the front fitment, to find the right spacer size to use to clear strut and fenders.
I am undecided on 19x10s.
I was meaning 265/35x19 square, hence 19x9.5
After fitting 265, I still found it is "front traction limited" in hard cornering, so will try 285 on 9.5, and research to see if 10" will give significantly better better support to 285 to benefit front side-bite-traction or not.
10" wheel is heavier, and I have to purchase again, both negatives. Current wheels are 19lbs each, so reduced unsprung weight - which in all honesty I did not feel. Yes, I expected change in feel, there was none. But front end grip is UP by stepping from OEM 255/35 on 9" to 265/35 on 9.5", say 10% up. I need last 5%, maybe 285 on 9.5 will do that, to get it totally front to rear balanced, for backroad. bombing on California Mountains-Canyon roads.
