Could someone with the AMG Performance seats take a picture of the seat back from a few angles?

I think it could be really cool to paint/wrap the seat back like Porsche offers. The color would depend on your color scheme, but white could look really good with the white stitching.

Back of AMG Performance Seats

 

I've been driving it for a week now, 512 miles of Houston traffic and roads and it's perfect. I'm impressed with how much "Jekyll & Hyde" there is in the suspension. Comfort mode is just to my liking for regular transportation, the ride is smooth but still very little body roll. Sport and Sport + tighten everything up just right. The road noise is fine for me moving from a 996 GT3 to this was night and day on quiet. I can't wait to try it out on track next month.

 

Could anyone confirm deliveries in Canada???
My dealer says it is shipped but not yet arrive.

I am in Montreal but I would like to know Confirmed deliveries anywhere in Canada.

 

If you were a March Production then you will be waiting...The exact text I received from the head honcho of western Canada was.....There are currently 4 service actions needed for March production cars, 3 have been done, the 4th one is impossible to get an update on as of yet, but they have been working relentlessly to get it resolved...I am starting to think the 3 year service included inst enough for thos who ordered first and will now be getting our cars last

 

My car arrived at my dealership this morning, in Québec city.

Some people in Ontario got theirs...some were even on autotrader in Ontario for a while. While here in Montreal...they can't even tell me if it's on a truck here or if it left the port. I ordered one in January...still waiting. dealership giving me the same answers they did in june/july. So yup...waiting to see what it is this time.

 

It may be worth putting a deposit down on a build slot at another dealer. At least that way you'll have another potential option at some point?

 

This is getting to be ridiculous. I waited this long...I want to see what my patience will get me. heh...but still im angry

 

I’m not understanding the super slow trickle of cars coming in. What’s worse is the complete lack of communication between Mercedes Corporate and the dealers. I know my SA very well and a lot of the higher up managers at my Corporate Store. None of them know what’s going on. I’m extremely grateful that I’m in a very nice loaner but it’s a bit ridiculous that I’m coming up on 90 days since I traded in my GTS and no answers.

 

For curiosity sake, whats the loaner?

 

2018 GLE 400

 

I received my vehicle last week in Brampton. So cars are definitely moving.

 

Same for me..they put me in a service loaner back in September- E400 coupe...Still no end in sight

 

Can you get out of the arrangement if you wanted to? Or would you lose your deposit, even if Mercedes did not meet their obligations.

 

I sent an email to Mercedes and got this reply, which I was not expecting. Totally useless!

I’m picking mine up tomorrow after work here in Edmonton. Car arrived at the dealership yesterday. Hope you get yours soon!

 

I went to the House of Imports AutoNation Store yesterday in OC, CA and sat in a black one, very nice indeed. But, they told me they have 2 more coming but they are yet again held up at the VPC (white and an ED1). Anyone else heard of this.

 

The end is near guys. My car is at the dealer...taking delivery tomorrow or Monday.

Its pretty strange. WI simonson here in Santa Monica has a few coming in and an Edition 1 and still held at VPC. From my understanding the earlier the arrival at the VPC the longer they have to wait to get released. That’s why Edition 1s are trickling in?
