Are you happy with the wheels? I see the great majority of customers went with the forge wheels. Great looking car.

The car is fairly fully loaded with only a couple options not picked. Didn't get the 3D sound, the CF mirrors & Spoiler, or the CF engine cover, and didn't get rear seat climate controls. Other than that there might have been a few other things that might total up to another $1000, but can't think right now what they might have been. I think if you're all in, you might be able to option one out to close to $150 k.
Not all Edition 1s come with Composite brakes, and you can't get one of the packages, which I think was the driver assistance package.
The Edition 1 does package up some things together that if ordered separately might add up to a higher sticker, but most of those things are available in other packages that offer similar savings to the Edition 1 package.
I wouldn't say that the Edition 1s are sparsely equipped, but most are not optioned out nearly as well as what I ended up with.
Again, I love the Night Black, and of course any E63S is going to be great. But I wanted the flexibility to option the car my way. I plan on keeping it for a long time, so spending a little more on this or that in the end didn't matter.

I don't think that's completely accurate. My car optioned out at $141,860 if you include the destination and delivery. That's waived for me because I'm doing European Delivery.

Well, I may stand corrected. The DOG I was looking at initially when I built my car didn't have any pricing in it. Just picked all the stuff I wanted and said it will be what it will be.
The early DOG also doesn't break out / list all the items shown in the above in the P88 package, just shows five or six internal and external features. The early DOG without pricing that I had does not show the Ceramic Compound braking system. But I noticed that the updated version that has pricing now includes that option (B07).
But, in any case I'm happy with my build. It was scheduled to start construction on 10/10 and I pick it up Nov 6 at the factory.

Better than expected!
I'm switching into this out of a 996 GT3 and couldn't be happier! Only 125mi on the odometer but I love the suspension and noise level. You can tell the power is here even though they ask you not to go over 4500rpm. I'll get it on track at MSR Houston next month and try the Race and Drift modes.
Wearing handcuffs for now but very pleased with this purchase.

I tend to read the forum more than reply but since everyone has been anxiously waiting for their cars, I figured ill share my experience thus far.
I ordered my car in March and was set to for a July delivery (when the lease on my 2014 E63 S ends). Needless to say that did not happen. However good news from my dealer in North Jersey that my car has finally arrived and I should be able to pick it up on Monday. I was also promised a 2 year maintenance package for the 4 month delay (apparently only given out to customers who ordered the car).
Below are the pictures my dealer sent me. Ill make sure to update with more when I finally get my hands on this beast.
Also there is an Edition One at the dealership that is up for grabs. DM me if you want me to send the dealership info etc.

did you know before you ordered? I ordered mine before it was offered in the US (July 17) so I went on an EU site and built this, and this is what I am expecting! Don't get me wrong the car still looks great but wish I had know there were differences. What else is missing?

2018 S560 and 2019 E450 Wagon.
Yeah I was aware that the privacy glass wasn't part of the wagon in the states when I had ordered. It wasn't in the DOG as an included feature with the night package, so I had researched some more and learned it wasn't included for US wagons. Not sure if anything else is missing from the European version, except the LED headlights which Europe has, US DOT hasn't approved them so we get a modified version.

Very nice. Will you be winter driving this car and what options have you found so far on winter wheels ? I asked Markham mb parts last week and the guy has no clue on this car's winter package being offered at all.

This could be were it indicate omission of tinted glass.
