Heya!

I've only ever seen a dark grey car, it was the one I test drove. I'd ordered my car in Obsidian Black, but I was curious about what the difference (besides the metallic bit..) between Obsidian and normal black.

It's WAY too late to change my build, car is going to build on Friday, but I'm happy with the spec, just curious is all!

This is a deep black. The obsidian black has more metallic flakes that give it a lighter/ dark Grey look in the sun

Ah, cool! I guess I'll be okay with it seeming a little grey-er since I've specced all the carbon packs. Might help the carbon come out a little better, I suppose. On the other hand I love the black-out look.

What a wonderful problem to have, eh?

Ah well, not like I can change it. Still happy with it though. Can't wait to see it in person!

EDIT: Sorry to hear about your E63S btw. Was following that thread along. Hope it all works out!

My current W212 E63 is white but been digging the "all" black look. Will probably order my W213 in either black, diamond white or diamond silver but haven't seen any diamond silver cars yet.

Agreed... that wagon is sweet. Are you in Denver by any chance? Looks like house close to where I grew-up.
