Those wheels look very nice.
I already lowered with the renntech module, and will tune in a few weeks. That's it until new wheels sometime later next year (when tires are done).

The module for this car simply uploads a setting via obdii...30 second deal from start to finish. Plug module into obdii port, it uploads, unplug, and start car. The old model (w212 AMGs) had to be wired into the suspension control unit, which was a pain as it's hard to access, or was for for me at least.

Not sure yet on which tune....still thinking on that one. Yeah, would likely have negative effects on warranty should something happen due to the install of the tune.

-lowered the car with OEM links
-15mm spacers up front
I will also do 12mm spacers in the rear next week
And the OE tune in a few thousand miles.
I love the look of the Stock wheels so gonna keep those.

Whats done:
30% Tint
OEM Link adjustments to lower
15mm spacers front
Plasti dip front grill silver bars
vinyl wrap all door handles gloss black to match gloss trim
vinly wrap rear chrome bar gloss black
due this week:
12mm spacers rear
OE Tune (Bench flash for real world gains and correct adjustments-not a piggy that tricks the ecu)
Post Cat removal (still thinking about this one) for more sound

This pic isn't great, but I will grab another. This is using the Renntech settings; I've dropped it further since...you can play with it until it's perfect for you.

This is the correct lowering module for this car...no install required...apologies if my above post wasn't clear. https://www.renntechmercedes.com/ind...e-class-detail

I keep a cheap 8" Kindle tablet in the car for this use and as an extra for the kids...plug tablet into module, make changes, plug module into car, it uploads changes automatically, then unplug module. Can try to use phone, but I think the renntech app is optimized for 8" screen.

I need more sound at lower rpms too. But the jury for me is still out on this; Serge can do it in an hour or so with his muffler partner down the street.

I got you, Im not looking for a hp/tq gain but sound and race is equal to sports plus in regards to the valving of the exhaust. I can not stand race mode around town as it holds the rpms to redline no matter how slow you are going.

I am not a huge fan of the noise either at the lower rpms in sport plus but not gonna do anything to the exhaust. Would have pulled the resonators if it had them but doing the cat delete just wouldnt be comfortable as a DD. Just my opinion

I still have my reservations on the MCT and manual (paddle shifts). I have had/have 6 MCT cars and never like the paddle responses. The TCU on this car in Sport Plus is very intuitive. (via Drive)

Remember its a post cat and like my GTS and other owners its similar to pulling a resonator on the M157 soundwise. Ill be the guinea pig with Serge and then you can decide. I really wish I did NOT have the acoustic pack.

Let me know how it sounds if you do it. I do not have the acoustic pack ( never wanted it) and the car is still pretty quiet. Even with the perf exhaust on, sport plus or race mode unless you go past 4500 RPM the car doesn't make much noise. Would have loved a more pronounced idle noise with the exhaust valves open.

We have an AMR tune and an OE Tune lined up for review.
