AMG Driving Academy
I just signed up AMG Driving Academy. I dunno if most people realize they are eligible for this one day event in any of four States for purchasing a AMG vehicle within one year of getting the car. You are not allowed to drive your own car but must use one of their cars, more than likely a AMG GT. The Course I'm doing is Road Atlanta May 17th, 2018. Somebody on these forums brought this up today and I did not realize new AMG owners where Eligible, the dealer did not tell me. Anyhow, just doing this post to inform people who don't know about this. Their website to register and read about the events and watch videos is https://www.amgacademy.com a $1895.00 value free with the purchase of a AMG vehicle.

Still waiting for my travel plans to firm up a bit for next year before I sign up.
The crystal ball never gets very clear, but I do know about some trips a few months in advance.

That Sucks. I would not have known about it if someone on these forums did not mention it, the dealer sales rep never told me, I don't think he even knew, lol

I just used mine this year at road atlanta
event was great
couple of remarks
need to use coupon within a year of purchase and these things can book fast .I had to request an extension to book road atlanta as it was 14 months after date of purchase
also, they will not allow 2 coupons within same year. I did purchase 2 AMG cars in 2016 , and they will only allow me one coupon . Again had to appeal , and was granted, so did end up doing the day with my son , and it was a blast. He won the autocross challenge.

I signed up for April 9th at Laguna Seca. Hopefully no conflicting travel plans will pop up and spoil the date. Signed up for a non driving guest as well as my wife loves Laguna Seca.

You can’t drive your own car. Ya though I’m excited for May 17 at Atlanta. It’ll be a good test of my drivingg skills. Many years ago I use to race a 5/8 mile circle track in the modified div.

That was my experience. i had to call and argue with the lady incharge and finally she agreed to allow the second coupon.
dealer has no control over the coupons as they don't pay for it
