AMG Track Pace USA/Canada
Anyone have any news or idea on when it is coming out in Canada/USA?
i have pressured many times the dealer and they say MB Canada still have no ETA on when it will come out.
I told my dealer that if they change the module and get Europe update of the infotainment, I could get the track pace.
They said they don’t have the module neither the software update from MB Canada to do it. They depend 100% on MB Canada for any update on the car.
It is sad to know that my car have some disabled feature. I don’t understand why MB Canada or Canadian government block this kind of feature on cars.

My E63S has a build date of 04/17 and it does not have either the "Race Start" menu option or the multi-color light settings. I suppose these will be a software update that I can hope to get at the 2,000 mile diff oil change?

So far, other owners are reporting that it is more than a simple software update.

I had to activate it. I honestly forget how I did so, but I did it same week I took delivery. They told me I'd need to come in but it's obviously not the case.
Have you checked for any OTA updates? Have you brought up AMG panel on main cluster?

It's just not available until late MY18 builds. Nothing to activate or via software update (OTA or otherwise). At least so far. I wonder how accurate this one is vs a VBOX.

My first 2018
Was missing it. It turns out that it’s not a simple update at all. Track Pace along with several other features were missing and the UI is actually different in the cars that DO have it...
Long story short the promised update from Mercedes Canada is some time 3rd quarter 2018 and it keeps slipping. I traded my car for a newer build 2018 with the different UI and Track Pace.

As we were all informed this was a hardware update only to make this possible can you tell me the process MB Canada told you would be done to fulfil this update or did they just make you a promise to get you off the phone and stop complaining ;-)

He called me on Monday and he said that MB Germany told him that by the end of this month we should have an update. He didn’t give me specific details but he did said that for those who don’t have this feauture, it will be updated.
The dealer also called me and finally confirmed that latter build have track pace. They are also looking in too it.
