Does black fabric headliner look cheap?
I went give the deposit on the car I found spec'd perfectly today to have it shipped to my local dealer. I show up and the car sold. I found another build it has everything I want. Except designo DINAMICA headline.
Does the fabric headliner make the car look cheaper in the interior? I worried I will get the car and it will look cheap. Does anyone have pics of their black fabric headliner? The next custom builds aren't until April and I am in need of a car.
My previous car was totaled and can't wait 3-4 months.

I have had dinamica in all my amgs and was just like you and thought I would never buy one without. That being said my edition 1 wasn’t offered with dinamica and I thought the standard black I had to deal with in this one would be garbage. When I get in my suv with dinamica I notice the difference but it doesn’t take away from the e63s like I anticipated. It wouldn’t be a dealbreaker anymore like I thought it was a year ago before I got this car.

I have the Dynamica. However I had the black fabric in my wife's 2015 C300, my Jag F-Type, and in my 2012 550i. So I am familiar with it. The black fabric doesn't look cheap like those gray fabric headliners. However it doesn't look as premium as dinamica.
For a performance car it doesn't matter. Probably saves weight.

My RS7 was laden with alcantara and I rarely looked at it- I guess if the headliner is black its not a super big deal to me.
I have an ED1--- whats more important to me is seat feel and cabin amenities like the yellow stitching and carbon fiber panels...

I have the Dynamica headliner but I haven't really paid attention to it - don't look up that much.
But passengers and friends looking at the car have commented on it, so it must be nice
