Still waiting for LED’s to come. Thought for some reason that they should come with vents, had to order LED’s separately. Nozzles will illuminate accordingly to chosen interior colour.
That looks pretty good. How hard was the install? Any pics / recommendations? Price of parts?
For the LED, how is it powered if there's no LED in the OEM vents? Or are there?
its very easy. Just need appropriate tools in order not to damage leather dash.
1.take off HUD cover 2. Wrap all edges with masking tape where your Comand placed, because it has to come off, and u don’t want to damage leather. 3. Driver and passenger single vents come out just by pulling them out with thin special tool. total cost is 500$ and another 170$ for LED wire. You need to power it to your dash lighting, very easy process. LED’s in vents will also have 64 colours as rest of your interior.

How are they getting the ambient light signal or power? Your W213 wouldn't be wired for that from factory?
Yes, simple switch between factory ones and that.
just wrap it with dash light wire . Get power from it, easy.
My friend got theirs plug and play from CKM design but the vents are not properly matching the correct color. The ones marked X are the plug and play but the ones with the checkmark are OEM.
notice how the vents are usually matching the screen color and not the bottom color.
anyway to fix this using star diagnostics? Or xentry? Thanks.
