Selling my '18 E63s Wagon, ? about value

Now thats not saying the OP cant sell it for more to a private party but the wholesale/dealer market will be well under triple net. Further, supply and demand of the wagon is just that; there are less cause the demand is less. Autotrader and Cars.Com are just asking prices but rarely if ever do they sell at these asking prices. Now Porsche is a different story with such limited 991.2's out there and the demand is still up.
The only wagon that has sold at Manheim was a 5.0 car (perfect) with 925 miles for 103k back in April.
Dealer trade-in is always same as auction which typically is $15-20k below PPV.

Trade in's are not always that much lower than private sales. It truly depends on the brand and model but with AMG its pretty bad. But there are a few AMG's that are stronger in comparison like the Black Series SLS and even my C.
There is no way a private sale bumps up to 107- as you might think with your 15-20k valuation. (i gave a low 90 acv) unless someone is lost in the weeds. I think I know this space reasonably well
I do think he can get higher 90's but even the OP has stated he has a low ball hit. It will be interesting to see....EG: I priced my E63S with a dealer and I got 110 on buy... private sale will no chance yield 125 especially based on the age of my car and/or his.

2001 330CI offered $5.5k sold for $15k
2012 550i offered $55k sold for $72k
2013 M5 offered $65k sold for $85k
2014 M5 offered $55k sold for $78k
2015 Jag Coupe offered $60k sold for $78k
2015 C300 offered $22k sold for $32k
Dealers make more money on used cars than new. It's a scam. I would only sell by PPV or consignment.

A scam? or a business... you are a one off. Of course dealers make more money on used cars than new. Are you privy to their financials? I am, its part of the car business. Move new cars to create marketshare and lease returns via service and part ops. Move used cars based on gross.

Down the road you could go to the dealer and get an ever lower offer yet sell it for much more because its downstream in the cycle, my assessment to you and above is that your car is too new in the cycle to get a nice private party offer but higher 90's is strong

I have had all your cars when you had them or before (M's and Jag) and your dealer offerings are hilarious even back then.
The facts here are straight up: miles, msrp, real invoice and expert advice from not just me (Wassaby)
But I have to call BS on your 2013 M5 getting an ACV of 65k after 1 year since I have had 2 of them and my 2013 with a lowly 105k msrp traded without favor for 94k at a dealer yet you got a 65k offer??? How many miles did you have after 12 months

If you have data that applies to this thread, Id welcome the facts.
Thanks for the advice. I will make those changes! I read that someone just traded one in like mine for 100k which is great. I keep getting low ball offers which is insulting but I am not in a rush.
I have 4 kids but they're all Beagles much more affordable not only financially but time which both of us in careers leaves no time for 2 legged kids.
I know you are in no rush but waiting for a better deal means you don't want to take a heavy loss. Almost for sure won't get better and you have to hope you find a retail buyer.
These issues of having to find a buyer are almost totally why I lease and the other thing is I don't want to bother with protection wraps and other things anymore. I'm treating these vehicles like the depreciating assets they are use and return and I'll always want the newer gen tech in 3 years.

I paid 10% off the sticker of the X5. A diesel no less ( which SOME could argue is a desirable vehicle). Then they showed me 100k on top of it. With that being said, I know it was going straight back to the MB dealer where I bought it because I set the deal up. So... I think I traded for 100k, if not very very close
