Have you considered removing the secondary cats? https://mbworld.org/forums/w213-amg/...er-delete.html
I'm going to see if a local shop can do it. Anyone else have luck with it?

I'm going to have the Renntech 200 cell cats installed next week along with a custom titanium exhaust. I'll take some videos and post them up once I get it all installed. It's going to loud

I’m getting these next week , can’t wait . No issues with dealer ? They won’t void the warranty ?

Just curious, are these California CARB compliant?
Given the new no fix-it ticket for loud exhausts and requisite required CARB **** probing to validate repairs, one can't be too careful with exhaust related mods now in CA.

I know of over a hundred W213`s with our down pipes and sure someone will post a clip.

Any exhaust mods will avoid your warranty except if you will get approved by Mercedes parts and get them at a dealership. In other cases, you will lose the warranty at least for exhaust components.
I have not done that yet and don't want to confuse anyone with that, but I was talking to "DME tuning" in NJ and they told me when I'll get into a shop to get this done they will explain to mechanic how to cut stock DP. Later you can weld V-band clamps on them and can use them again, in this case, you don't need to put tranny down, what I definitely want to avoid with the new car.

shardul posted pics (in his thread )in which he shows where it should be cut in order to remove stock dp
