Stage 1 ECU Tune Draggy Times
- I'm impressed
- it's worth noting, as dav461 mentioned, it is a dev car running a dev ecu file. This is not a file you will be able to purchase, or should purchase. They are tuning to the upper end of capability here. He mentioned the car may go pop, and it might. That's how you find the limits. If you would want this file, I'm sure they will want to have your car in house for testing first. The w213 has some quirks that not every one of them suffers from. Gotta test the car and ramp up over time, which it seems like they are doing.
- people continue to say the w213 doesn't make power easily....maybe not, but it def makes power. This dude is making more torque than my upgraded hybrid turbo car. Is that safe? Who knows? Is it impressive? I think so. The w213 can make good power, and it's up to the tuner to limit that output, not create it...
- with all that said, I look forward to actual track results. Could be really cool.
I like what you guys are doing. 💪

1.69s 60 ft
8.83s @ 121.57mph 1000ft
10.54s 1/4 mile @ 132.4 mph
That to me is semi believable. I think Vic55 said the new F90 M5 gets a 10.3s on just a tune?

The Best of Mercedes & AMG
We went through this on the W212! Tuners claiming performance times with their simple stage 1 cars that to this day can’t be duplicated, even with more mods. When customer’s cars can back this up (on certified tracks!) I’ll start giving kudos. Until then it’s just tuner marketing hype to me.

But what if they talk a bunch of **** and say all other tuners suck and give you their address and offer to pick you up from the airport? Then it goes from fake to real, right?

Tuner claimed 10.5 , while car went even faster.

I wasn’t really even talking about that car. Either way, put the car on a certified track and back it up with customer’s cars that can do the same. This forum has seen a over decade’s worth of tuners posting commercials disguised as “informational content” for their tunes that never perform the same for the customers they’ve gained from the free (and often misleading) advertising.

I honestly don’t know what to think. OP originally stated that his car had a Eurocharged stage 1 tune but no other Eurocharged car on the planet is even close to these claimed times. Then later in the thread it seems to be implied that he’s doing the tuning. Like I said before, this seems like Andy/MHP all over again.
UK weather is ideal first setting Record Times, sea level, low winter temperatures but not below freezing. Good premium fuel available at the pump.
