Tune friendly extended aftermarket warranty?
I got my warranty voided for having a flash tune.
Are there any aftermarket warranties out there for like $7k that give me some kind of protection from my entire tranny/engine blowing?

Which company tune were you running? Also did you notify or leave the tune in while taking the car in for service?

I left it in but I'm not sure it mattered. They checked so that leads me to believe they could have also checked how many ECU_PROGRAMMING diagnostic sessions were open on the device.

The one where I'm an idiot where I:
1. show up to the dealer with my stage 1 map on instead of stock
2. admit to my service advisor I was exploring the options of having my car tuned / might have admitted it is tuned (I was introduced to this "crooked" dealer + service advisor through a local tuning shop)
3. accused the dealership of punching a pin sized hole in my air cooler/heat exchanger to drum up business for a "fraudulent" $3k repair
After I accused the service advisor of that, they had no trouble "sticking it to me" because I was rude and voided my whole warranty.
There's gotta be some company out there for $6k-$7k I can pay to have catastrophic "my tranny exploded" insurance, no? Maybe I'm sitting on a good business idea... until it's payout time and everybody has blown trannies! :P
