Cup 2 are super aggressive, streetable track tires basically. Some of the fastest track super cars come with cup 2s as standard. 4Ss are high performance summer tires that would do well on the track for a normal street tire. Does that make sense?

I haven’t driven Cup 2s. To me they seem like a dry weather/track tire only. We run winter tires up here North of the Wall October through April and even then, I’ve been caught in snow on Summer tires, basically 4Ss in the rear drive Vette and I managed to get home. Lovely May snows. Not ideal for the tire but serviceable.
You wont have snow in Florida, and might be able to manage the wet. Just not what it’s designed for.
Here’s the disclaimer from Michelin:
WARNING: Pilot Sport Cup 2 radials meet DOT requirements; however, they are not recommended for driving in wet conditions where standing water is present and there is the risk of hydroplaning; drivers should drive cautiously at reduced speeds if they encounter these conditions. This is especially true of shaved or worn tires. And like other Streetable Track & Competition tires, these tires are not intended to be stored, serviced nor driven in near- or below freezing temperatures, through snow or on ice.

There are plenty of GTRs on the Florida roads. The cup 2s especially on a tuned W213 E63s shave those 1/4 mile runs and hock up nicely. These are one step lower than slicks and one step higher than all performance tires like the PS4s. Hope this help.
