2018 W213 E 63 S AMG Sedan
PURE turbos + race gas + DME tune = 10.17s @ 140.28mph quarter mile

$2.7k for tune
not sure if car has $1.5k downpipes + $200 air filters but I'll assume yeah

Pretty much all that makes sense ROI wise for this car. Curious what 60-130mph times look like for this car.

Gas rating in Europe and North America is different and if you guys have 100 RON octane on your gas stations as a normal thing, here is in the US highest octane rating you can find 93 (some states as CA has only 91) and 100 AKI gas rating is considering here as "race fuel" due emission standards.

100 US AKI = ~ 105 Europe RON

Post says “octane” 100 which is US 94aki.
I’m pretty sure they used vp fuel which is street legal according to them.

I’m not sure tbh. There is 109oct which is race fuel as well. I guess anything above 102. As 102 is the highest you can find on petrol station.

Stock engine's internals are pretty strong and can handle over 1000 crank hp, but clutches will suck at that point for sure.

we all have money for intake/downpipes/fuel upgrades/hybrid or bigger turbos

what can we do to make car faster?

You can spend that money to buy a car that made to be fast and not to go to Costco to grab some groceries ))) Jk

I think for now - not much, even now GAD motors has a solution to build up a stock tranny to handle with no issue 900 crank hp they can't to reprogram it to make power output more efficient (disclaimer no one has a solution for that)

The mct and driveshaft have to be the weakest link at this point

A torque converter would be nice

i think the transmission problem is two fold, mandarin correct me if i am wrong

1. eventually, you’ll be putting down too much power for the clutches to handle and they’ll start slipping

2. the bigger issue, TCU tune basically does not allow excessive torque. ECU can request 800-900-1000ftlbs of torque, but TCU won’t allow it to be put to the wheels?

If this is true, I wonder how long or how many hard launches will it take to see the clutches slipping? and what is the torque range that the TCU is allowing the tranny to put down then?
