Hi I have been in the market for a E63s. I found an edition one with a private seller with less then 3000 miles. Looks mint! Car is a 2018 without any mods. What’s a good price? Thanks
Even for those. Edition 1 package didn't help resale much I don't think
Edition 1 in itself will not add resale value but the Night Black Magno paint seems to make a sale easier. Makes the car stand-out. I am biased of course but it's my favorite color for the E63s
Plus CCB's are a nice practical option that very few E63s have...
Thank you for the replies. I have seen prices from 82-110k in the last few months. mileage anywhere from 3k-38k. I personally know of an ED1 with 11k miles sold by a Porsche dealer for 85k.

Good to know. Whichever car you pick, strongly recommend getting one with CCB's. More of a freebee on a used one and the lack of brake dust alone is worth it. I like the Ed1 for the color as mentioned (not available to order except via Designo Manufaktur) but any early 2018 has some software/hardware differences which makes them a bit less attractive. Primarily Comand/Interior LED related. All info is on this forum.
Couple things to know. Warranty can't be extended from a private/3rd party sale (like Porsche), so you may have to get a 3rd party warranty. If important, that is...
Or get one from a MB dealer. Even non-CPO cars can easily be CPO'd if nothing in the history prohibits it.
Don't mean to hijack this thread but if the ed 1sedans are going for about $95k with low miles then what about the three Ed 1 wagons in the U.S.? About the same as any other wagon ($105k or so)?
Wagons usually hold a premium of 10% or so compared to the sedans. Since ED1 wagons are so rare, they should be worth more with the right buyer. Clearly above 105K

I really wanted the Night Black Magno when I first saw the E63 at the LA auto at the US launch.
Sadly, the color was only available in the US on ED1s, which also sadly weren't configurable. There were some options on the car that I wanted which weren't on the ED1, plus I was already thinking of the European Delivery route. So ended up with the Selenite Grey Magno which my wife likes better anyway. I still really like the Night Black Magno every time I see it in person but am really happy with the grey too.
Ease of care is one plus, but the other is that the grey magno really doesn't show dirt that badly. The car can actually be pretty dirty and still look clean at first glance. Dust on the finish doesn't show up that much unless someone has wiped part of the car with a finger or something so you can see the difference. Mainly the car just looks a bit less sparkly than normal. Then you wash it again and BAM the finish pops again.
I suspect the Night Black is similar but would think it would show dust a bit more than the grey.

The Night Black Magno is actually better than our Magnetite Black roadster for dust. No doubt, your Selenite Gray definitely beats the black for practicality and the Ed1 was missing some features I wanted as well (Alcantara headliner and maybe the Burmester 3D). But I love the color and the blue sparkles in the paint close-up
There's probably a wrap available that would match the Night Black Magno.
Could be possible but I haven't seen anything close to it. This is not just matte black. It's sparkly metallic paint, just matte. I tried to take some pics of it in the sun but it somewhat doesn't capture the look. Here is a bad example...
I would like under 10k miles but the ones I am finding have 20k plus.
The OP mentioned a private listing for a Ed1 with 3k miles. Maybe PM him/her?
This is a car to be driven and it's over 2 years since intro. So very low mileage cars will be rare. We barely drove ours (at least I feel that way) and we have 16k miles on the clock. About 7k miles a year.
Average miles I have seen is between 10-20k for ED1.
Regarding the original discussion, KBB for edition 1 with low miles is 80k, edmunds suggested 82-87k based on condition. That looks like a steep depreciation for limited edition cars!
So Is an edition 1 worth extra money, or is it better to get a well specked E63s maybe selenite grey magno?
