Recall: Turbocharger G63/GT63/E63/S63 2018+2019
It seems there will be a serious recall for 2018 and 2019 G63/GT63/E63/S63 cars (with the M177 engine):

Did not hear back from my dealer yet, but it concerns almost 10.000 cars worldwide!

I received the recall notice stating the issue and they are looking for a solution back on March 19th and receive the next notice that they have the part they needed for the replacement on May 8th.
My car is a MY19 e63s wagon and the recall numbers on the letter listed:
TC Recall # 2020026
Internal Ref # 0993102
MBC Recall # 2020020012

I wonder if this recall is for ALL or just selected ones.
Mine is 18 (Oct 2017 built) and I have no letter from MB. I had also visited dealer back in May 2020 and I asked for any TSBs or update and they checked none.

I just picked up a 2019 E63 CPO two weeks ago, it says the oil feed line recall was completed on March 13th 2020. For those of you who checked and saw "no ongoing recall" check if it was done in the completed section.
"Mercedes-Benz AG (?MBAG?), the manufacturer of Mercedes-Benz vehicles, has determined that on certain MY 2018-2019 E-Class (213 platform), G-Class (463 platform), S-Class (222 platform), S-Class Coupe and Convertible(217 platform), and GT-Class 4-door Coupe (290 platform) vehicles with 4.0l 8-cylinder gasoline-engines (M177), the elastomeric material of the oil feed line to the turbochargers might not meet current production specifications. Due to thermal loading while driving, the oil feed line might exhibit selective leakage. If leaked oil contacts hot components in the engine compartment the risk of fire cannot be ruled out. An authorized Mercedes-Benz dealer will replace the oil feed line to the turbocharger on the affected vehicles."

If there is a recall for the turbos then my *** might still be saved.
I thought I cooked mine, lost all boost and the car became slower then a Civic, took it yesterday to my dealer and will hear the verdict on Monday.
The catch is, my turbos are modified by Renntech (850HP) and if there were no recall I would be stuck with the repair bill, quite significant at that.
