Check engine light at 2500 miles

After running it pretty hard (pulling on a Z06 at 170+ I must add), pulled into a meet for about an hour to let it cool down, and then heading home I was on the highway doing well over the speed limit and it randomly cut power (limp mode maybe) couldn't accelerate. Check engine light followed shortly after. So, I coasted off the highway and did a power cycle, I was able to drive it home. It drove perfectly fine. Check engine light is still there. I'll obviously take it to the dealer first of the week, but has anyone else experienced this? Completely stock too. What makes no sense is there was not a SINGLE message on the dash.

Pick up a ODB code reader and have a look. You can get a decent one for less than $50. Helps to go to the dealer armed with some idea of what is going on. If the code doesn't see too scary and the car seems to be running fine you could clear the CEL and see if it comes back. But don't clear it if you plan on taking it to the dealer because they'll want to see it.

UPDATE - Check engine light is now off. I was able to check the stored code - "P0087 Fuel Rail/System Pressure Too Low"

Anyone have any ideas? Car drives perfectly fine. Was doing some pulls, no problems.

Sounds like the fuel pump couldn't keep up with the demand. If it only happens WOT at 170, you're going to have a hard time getting the dealer to duplicate. You can see if they'll do anything based on the stored code.
