Awful experience with new E63S
Disaster start to E63S ownership which I bought from a Merc main dealer (Colindale London).
1. Noticed a juddering at high speed which shook the whole car so took it to Bristol Merc (local) who told me three out of four wheels need replacing as one is buckled and two have flat spots, at a cost of £4k. Colindale Merc disagree and now want the car back to do their own checks.
2. Piece of trim fallen off the seat
3. Car needs oil already as had an add oil message pop up so clearly they didn’t check it
4. Steering column doesn’t move up or down, seems something is broken.
5. Auto tail gate is temperamental and doesn’t always work
6. They want to drive it to London and back and put more miles on it to figure it all out.
7. Mileage was 800 higher than advertised when I picked it up.
Had a decent bank holiday trip planned with it which is now up in the air. They’ll give me a C63 cab for the weekend but not the same really. They'll also give me a free service but I am so fed up already I am not sure I should carry on.
I have spoken to a number of other people and everyone has said I should reject the car.
Thoughts?

I will check the dipstick as well.

Let’s see what they come back with.
Got a C63s cab on loan for the weekend whilst they have been finding me another E63S. The C63S cab feels so much comfortable and nicer on a long drive than the E63S, which shouldn’t be the case.
They have just sent me a spec sheet on one which has exactly the same options, colour, but is two months newer and has 2000 less miles.
The cynic in me wonders if they are selling me back the same car. However imagine the legal case against them.
I have asked them to reserve the car for me for now.
The first car should never have left their workshop but at least the sales guys have been doing their bit.
Hopefully a new car next week......
