Any tips when using launch control?
Any tips when using launch control?
Hi,
I'm curious what others are using to get the best launch. Do you just stick with the factory 3500rpm or do you bump it up a bit using the right paddle? Traction control on or off etc. Any tips or advice?
Thanks!
J.

i don't think cars that have been updated to latest ECU/TCU/CPC from Xentry/dealer software can do this anymore
they got rid of it because 4k launches were snapping trannies i heard

If you enjoy the **** out of it, then it's not wasted on you. I don't launch often either, but it doesn't mean I don't enjoy every last HP.
One feature I’m embarrassed I have never tried is drift mode. I’m so focused on 1/4, 1/8, and 0-60 times I never tried rear wheel only.
Interesting, my car is much more violent on launch using launch control than when you just mash the throttle.
The car never spins the tires when you just mash the throttle other than maybe a bit of slip you can feel. When using launch control the car will leave marks on the ground and the tires can be felt spinning a little - not much but definitely clawing for traction.
