My build date is 1st decade of feb and I haven’t heard that anything has changed, but I also don’t see any e53 coupes on lots anywhere yet. There are a couple listed at dealers but when you call them, they don’t have them on site.

I ordered the car so long ago and seeing all of the e63s getting delivered has me anxious.

fwiw I did order massaging seats.

E53 Coupes will start arriving in April-May. They reduced the allocation for the Coupe. Very very low numbers of 2021 will be produced.

My order was accepted on Oct 7th.

Decade of production was changed to 1st decade of feb on 10/28 and the accessory confirmation received on 11/24.

There have been no further updates since then and it is still listed as B1-X13 PROD Est prod 02/1D/2021

My sedan was B5 produced 02/02/21 (scheduled 01/25/21) and is currently B7 at port-no ship assignment as of 02/04/21. Hoping it finds a ship by next Monday latest.

Updated production date now 3/19/2021. I figured that it would be delayed again since there were no updates.

none of the vin decoders are giving me details on the specs. Does anyone have a good mb vin decoder to confirm that it has the massaging seats and other options?

Just received confirmation that my car was built Friday. Now waiting for at port in Germany. Hopefully it will be here by May?

My E63s has been sitting at the port for twelve days awaiting ship assignment. No update or estimated arrival date available. It is a painful process.

I was notified by the dealer today that my E63s is on a ship and underway. It took three weeks from the build completion. Someone else mentioned that theirs took three weeks from build to the ship as well. I hope you get good news soon. It's been four and a half months since I placed the order and seems more like a year.

Ship is scheduled to hip port on 4/11. 2 days or so to Mass from Baltimore. I have the paint correction, PPF and ceramic booked. They quoted total 6400$ for all 3. PPF is whole car.

pretty happy with that. Pics will follow hopefully next week. 😎

Just went to see her and drive around. Love the Emerald green. Registration on Monday and will pick her up then.

can anyone help with spacers?
nobody seems to make them!
from what I can tell the c63 has the same bolt pattern and bore size - so the c63 spacers should
work.

also curious if the car will stay an inch lower at all times when sport+ is selected? If not I may need lowering links. Pillarless and beautiful, but needs a stance adjustment

Spacers aren’t the biggest problem. Finding long enough bolts was the tricky part because the oem bolts are already pretty long.

I’ll have to dig up my paperwork to figure out what I went with.

15mm spacers all around, oem bolt length is 45mm, had to find 60mm bolts with ball seats. Looks like they’re more readily available these days, seeing them on Amazon. Had a tough time finding them last year.

Just notified dealer snagged a 2022 E53 coupe July build for August shipment To Baltimore.

Earliest release is September or until Mercedes authorizes 2022 models to be released to dealers from Baltimore storage.
It could be much later.

They are still storing the 2021 S models there until authorized.

Curious if anyone knows what production #s might look like for the e53 coupe.

Not sure I’ve ever come across another on the road.

Mine was the only build from the dealer. Plenty of sedans though.
