Zero. No wrap, no ceramic coat. I just drive it and wash it with soap and water when it gets dirty. That's what the Mercedes guy told me to do when walking me through delivery in Germany during the factory delivery.
He said the magno finish is very durable and requires very little care. So far he's been right. But keeping it in the garage at home and at work probably help a lot with that, and also the fact that it never rains in Southern California and so on and so forth. But it does get dusty and pollen can be bad.

Having lived in two mountainous states with lots of rocks and gravel on the road, I can assure you that no paint is tougher than PPF + Ceramic Coating.

I think it all depends on the prep and product. I have had a few different products I have had done over the years and the best so far has been Ceramic Pro. Water blows off the car as I drive. I paid about $2000.00 for tint and the Gold Package on our GLE.

I think around $1k sounds about right assuming they do some minor paint correction. Ceramic coating doesn't protect from rock chips. It does help with water beading. The only true protection is XPEL film or something similar.
