W213 E63S with Perf Exhaust, muffler delete.
So currently I am working on my 18 E63S. I have done a Weistec tune and filters. The car is such a beast for the size! I have wanted to add some sound, can’t decide on DP’s on this car as it has 14k and I honestly don’t know how long I’ll keep it. So I want to make everything as reversible as I can for trade in. At least on a emissions level, as no dealer will take it in without them around here.
so to the muffler delete! After months of searching for a way to do this I found nothing. And don’t see the need for a 6-8k exhaust when the AMG performance exhaust is 3” and no restrictions after down pipes.
Removed my mufflers, cut the valves out, and tucked them up behind the center of the bumper cover, plugged in. The wires are nice and long so can fit them both in there next too each other. Then just finished the pipe straight out the back. Car sounds amazing!! Loud on cold starts for a min, then calms down and has a nice rumble at idle and driving down the Hwy only a little noise inside the cabin, but good noise, no drone. I’m really surprised how quiet it is. But I do have stock DP’s still. If do DP’s I will put a muffler in the system as I’m sure that will be annoyingly loud!! No warning lights, no limp mode, car pulls like a train.

I’ll get a sound clip up, cold start is a beast, after warm up it’s not near as loud as I thought. I get some picks up and detail of how I did it to trick the exhaust flaps so no code, no limp mode. Pretty easy, could have bought the expensive module for how many hours I sat and thought about how to do it. Lol. Then of course it was simple. 🤬

Downpipes, muffler delete with Vibrant “ultra Quiet” resonator. This is in normal mode. sport plus and race add lots of pops and burbles with Weistec stage 2 tune.

Finally exhaust clip with crazy exhaust set up. In Sport Plus.
This a clip of my 18 W213 E63S. Crazy set up of Cat-Less downpipes, stock H-pipe, oem resonators off my 2011 AMG SLS (to eliminate drone at 50mph) and Vibrant Ultra Quiet Turbo mufflers. Prob one of a kind, but sound is excellent, and full turbo back at a fraction of a cat-back exhaust system. Let me know what you think.
