Hasn't been a fresh allocation of wagons in months. Logic has nothing to do with it.

Today, my GM told me the regional rep said that only 10 wagons are coming. His dealership did not get one of the allocations even though it was requested months ago.

^^^There are so many possibilities. Nice grey 2020 on BaT right now. Also, Audi RS6 is amazing. My favorites are the Taycan or Panamera but much more pricey. Also, I have Volvo trying to get me to buy 2023 hybrid V60. I'm also a big fan of Audi A6 Allroad. Heck, I'd probably rather have that than RS6.

I gave up waiting around for a 2023 allocation and picked up a used 2021 wagon with 8,400mi in selenite magno, black forged wheels, carbon interior and exterior trim, yellow stitching. Doesn’t have CCBs unfortunately, but it’s loaded otherwise. Can’t wait for it to arrive!

I am.very skeptical about MBUSA only having 10 wagons available for the whole country....they wouldn't go thru testing crashing.....ect. for such a low volume.

Not a new model so no crash testing necessary. My guess is that we will get a few Final Editions at some point. I think the real issue is the EPA and the cost to MBUSA for those less than efficient V8 engines.

Should be less costly for MBUSA to bring the E63 AMG Wagon since no EPA or crash testing necessary...all been done on previous model (2021) virtually unchanged from then.... keeping my fingers crossed for next allocation.

I called my local dealer (Greenwich CT) and the GM said "don't sell your '19 as we are sold-out for the next 1-2yrs". Perhaps he didn't understand my question, or realize this is the last year for it... I've never been happy with the AMG experience at the Greenwich location, and now I guess it doesn't matter. I would like to get a "last of the run", but I love the sport seats in mine, as well as the IWC clock.
Good luck gents... those who actually get a '23 will be exceedingly lucky!

Not going to be another allocation. The EPA fines MBUSA for the V8's since they are gas hogs. CAFE standard for Fleet average is 43.5 MPG. Going to 49 MPG in 2026. Bye bye V8's.
