I've been looking at the couple Canadian wagons mentioned that have the CCBs. They are missing options like premium package and intelligent drive. Usually those are must haves. These have been sitting a while though and dealers may be motivated. Wondering how much I'd miss those options if I can get a really great deal 🤔

this Canadian dealer still can't give them away ... lol. ... even with $20K discount. Better raise that discount to $40K as it will be 2 yrs old in just a few more months time.

Oakville doesn't seem to know how to market the cars. The Key Features mentioned are only:AWD, BLUETOOTH, FOG LIGHTS, INTERIOR ACCENTS, PARKING SENSORS / ASSIST, SIDE-IMPACT AIR BAGS.
If that doesn't make you want to shell out $150K (CAD? USD?), I don't know what would.

It definitely means that older models... certainly W213 post-facelift, are worth less (since you can buy a brand new 2023 for less). However, 2023 prices are still elevated compared to 2021. (I don't think there were any 2022 models). Not sure if the Oakville website was Canada or US dollars. Website might see where I am and translate.

oakville is canada and listing is in Canadian $. Thus, it is less than $120,000 converted to US $ … before any taxes.
the hype of a wagon holding a significant premium should be all over now and back to the typical AMG depreciation curve.

The Oakville car shows Carbon Ceramic Brakes in the picture but no mention of them in the description. Wonder if these are just stock phoptos? The prices of the two cars would be around the same price if the cheaper one is missing that option. Looks like no massage seats either

compared to its brother, sedan, it used to have around $10,000 - $15,000 Cdn in premiums in resale asking price in Canada ... it now has probably around <$5,000 in similar conditions / specs. nowadays. When I traded my wagon last fall, it has maybe around $3-4,000 Cdn premium over the sedan.

@bobblehead I had to confirm Canadian dollars as it seems rare/surprising that dealer price has decayed this much (from ~177k I believe with Final Edition markup). That $150k is indeed Canadian dollars, which is indeed USD111,000. Wow. Of course, it's in Canada so the hassle/cost of importing to the U.S. must be considered. I guess this is why grey market cars came to be.

If this car is driven with mileage and selling as "used", then the full factory warranty is honorable in the US. But as a new when sold, MB Canada will not honor it in the US. Strange policy.

Only way to be sure of options is get the VIN and sheet from dealer. Even then punch it into a VIN checker. Never trust descriptions and pictures.
