L6H AMG Performance Steering Wheel in Dinamica and Carbon Fiber for 2023
Is it heated?
So I also have an L6H coming, but my data card has a separate option code for steering wheel heater, code 443. So I'm not sure? I can verify for you one way or the other in about a week though!

The order sheet is not clear. It says heated is standard, and the option for L6H doesn't say it removes heat, but my salesman seems to think it's not heated when you get the carbon wheel. I can't trust him because he also thought my 2016 WAS heated when I bought it - until I made him sit in the car and show me exactly how to turn it on.. and then... he changed his mind.
So the L6H that came with my 2023 E63s Sedan had both the U88 AMG Drive unit buttons and ALSO came with heating! Even the dealership was surprised, as before this year the factory made you pick one OR the other. So this is good news, although I do not know if it applies to other steering wheel models and configurations, whether it applies to all 2023 MY vehicles, or specific models, etc.

OK So the carbon wheel is really nice looking and is heated but I have one HUGE pet peeve...
...I never realized how much I steer cars with my knees! I do it all the time while reaching for stuff, eating, pressing buttons on the touch screen, grabbing something from the passenger seat, grabbing the passenger , whatever. I really use my left knee a lot to drive cars. In this car I can't. My pants just slip on the carbon and I can't steer. LOL.

I'm certain that you can change the wheel to one of the other available options in Napa leather.
I'm really not liking the feel of the carbon and Alcantara but am WAY too cheap to buy a new leather wheel. Holy smokes they are expensive!
I'm casually entertaining swapping with someone that has leather/leather but also not sure I want to "wreck" the interior look as everything else is carbon.
I'm also wondering if I can get it covered/wrapped but again don't want to "ruin" the car and make the feel worse somehow.
My nit-pick is I'm finding myself usually gripping 11 and 12, it's the hard slickness of carbon it's just not as nice feeling as leather. Plus my wedding ring is going to beat it up for sure.

Buy the leather wheel and hang the cf wheel on your garage wall.
Yeah @I.T. Guy you have bigger fish to fry for now lol. (Just being facetious, I don't mean to presume.) But definitely put it on the to do list!
I don't mind the wheel, the fact that the heater and AMG unit are on the same wheel now is amazing. I just want a leather centre piece, instead of the cheap plastic everyone gets, I want that S-class leather centre.
