Exclamation Anyone Have Torque Specs for Brake Pad Retaining Pin Bolt

Anyone Have torque specs for the brake pad retaining pin bolt (A 016 990 06 01) for the front brakes on the 2018 w213 E63s? It's not listed in WIS.... they dont even state its a one time use bolt. I have seen torque specs ranging from 30NM to 135NM but nothing appears to be from a reliable source.

It's the bolt labelled 6 in the attached PDF.

Any help is greatly appreciated!

135 nm is 99 lb-ft that is insane amount of torque for something that is just there for alignment. If that is not a 12mm thread, there is no way it can get to 99lb-ft.

10mmx1.25 thread pitch bolts at 80 lb-ft and you are destroying that bolt.

The bolts just need to be snug. Do not go crazy.

that sounds like it is an 8mm thread bolt which is about right.

It just aligns the brake pads and the notches hold it in place preventing it from spinning on one side. It also acts as a structural piece to keep both sides of the caliper in check from expanding during caliper compression. Use threadlocker and reassemble, grease the inner bores on the caliper itself.

the only time a bolt is not reusable is in a torque to yield scenario. As an example, the bolts that hold the caliper mount in place for CCB are torque to yeild bolts. They can only be used that one time and if removed, need to be replaced.
