Any RMS issues on 2021 facelift E63S?
I’m interested in purchasing a late 2021 build facelift E63S (based in UK).
Do you guys know if there have been any RMS issues reported on the facelift model?
I’m trying to work out if any changes were made on the facelift to address the issue?
Thanks.

2. not enough time has passed to determine if this change in OVS parts was efficacious in the repaired pre-2021 cars.
3. no 2021's have reported an RMS issue on the forum yet; no repeat leaks have been reported Among those who had the official repair on this forum
4. depending on your ownership patterns a warranty extension may be prudent as part of protecting your purchase

5. It is generally accepted that just to repair the rear main seal leak without fixing the oil vapor separators is only a temporary fix. However, among people who only had the rear main seal leak repaired without the oil vapor separator repair, there have been no reports here yet of repeat rear main seal leaks.
6. issues on this forums do not necessarily reflect reported issues out in the world, it's unclear if 2021+ models are affected among any Benz models with the m177/8 engine, as you know not just the w213 amg has been affected.

Separate issue - oil in harness on M274/276/278/157 engines. The user community was/is in constant search for a clean point. None was definitively found. To my knowledge leaks (although fewer) have been experienced with the latest cam magnet and cam sensor part numbers. Sensor and magnets have been updated multiple times by MB.
Separate issue - chain tensioner check valve issue on M276 engines. This was definitively solved by MB after the first couple of production years for the M276 engine. A TSB was issued by MB which apparently ended this issue.
In conclusion, it is possible, but not guaranteed, that MB executes a permanent corrective action for OVS + RMS failure. Only time will tell. For MY2021 insufficient time has passed.
