W213 E63s Seat options

Hi, Im looking to buy used E63s pre facelift model and Im a bit confused about seats. Is there any difference between these two seat options except tight extension working differently? Im asking about bolsters, size, how tight\lose the grip is etc, not about materials or leather quality. Thanks

What market are you in? I dont think I've seen that top seat in E63s here in the USA at least. It reminds me of my old 204 C300 which didnt have the memory seat package, see how the seat controls are on the side of the seat instead of the door. So my guess is overall less adjustability.

As far as I am aware the bottom seat was the standard seat in the E63s here, which included memory and could be optioned with the multicontour massage.

Germany, yeah I think this is German thing. Top seat doesnt have memory package, you are right.
So multicontour = massage?

Yeah that makes sense. My guess is top is base seat and bottom is with memory package, besides that they look like they are similar. Maybe some more adjustability of the bolsters in the infotainment with the memory seats but not sure about that.

The option for massage seats was called "active multicontour front seats w/ massage feature" on the sticker, but I think the seats look the same either way.

There are also the AMG Performance Seats. If you want more bolstering and more lateral support, those are the seats to get. The multi contour and the performance seats both also have adjustable side bolsters. With the performance seats, both the leg side bolsters and the torso side bolsters can be inflated on the driver seat. For the passenger seat only the torso side bolsters can be inflated and the multi contour also can only inflate the torso side bolsters on both seats. I love the AMG Performance Seats.

hey @superswiss good to see you around. Yep I had those performance seats in my 205 C63 and I loved them. My wife, not so much. For the E63 I wanted massage so was not an option but if you can find one with them I suggest trying them out.

Thanks everyone, reading a bit more into it seems like they are Multi-Contour Seats inside a P65 Ergonomics package, but just without memory function. I more interested in inflatable side bolsters.

I know about the bucket options also btw but Im not interested in those.

I'm looking for a set of the performance seats but other than an entire interior package (at over $8K) haven't been able to find anything.
