MBUX Update 2.6 for E53 2023 US (W213)
Has anyone here from USA received MBUX 2.6 or 2.6.1 on their E53 2023? Just wondering if my car is eligible.

It is eligible yes but the rollout is staged.

If you want it quicker, you need to take the vehicle to a dealership and get them to install it that way.

Or get your dealership to install it sooner than waiting for it. It is sort of like manually flashing the firmware on a phone before waiting for an OTA update pushing over. The main thing you like is the satellite view of google maps? If so you could always use google maps on the phone through android auto or apple carplay.

I see. Let me talk to the dealership.

Apple carplay window in my car uses only 50% of the screen. It is very tiny. But when I use internal navigation system it uses full screen. That’s why I want Google Map in internal navigation.

Uh oh, I made a huge mistake : ( I am so sorry : ( I forgot you have a W213, you have MBUX 1.0, you would not get 2.x updates. which only MBUX 2.0 vehicles will get, I thought you were talking about a W214, my bad. Sorry about that!

To get full screen android auto or carplay you could get aftermarket solutions.

I should had known better, I was replying in a W213 sub-forum and you specifically mentioned a 2023 E 53 which is the facelift W213 E-Class you even mentioned (W213) in the title. The W214 came out as a 2024 model year so that didn't add up.
