Aftermarket Warranty Recommendations?
Hi guys,
I have a 2019 E53 with just over 37K on it, and the original (extended) 7 year/70K warranty will be up soon. I reached out to my local dealer which offered a 5 year/60k warranty through Excela for $4K. Does anyone have experience with Excela or other extended warranty companies such as Fidelity?

But do they cover E53's??? E53's don;t havbe the M177 motor so I would think they're still covered. But tons of information about warranties on the forum, including a large on in the W213 section and a dedicated warranth section on the forum.

Maybe common knowledge, consider purchasing extended warranty prior to factory warranty expiring. From what I was told, it is cheaper to purchase before in service date expires. Warranty companies may sense you are desperate if you already have expired factory warranty.
I was told my 2021 E63s wagon with under 19k mi. was no longer an option for Fidelity Platinum.

i mean, what other choices are there with actual testimonials to RMS coverage actually provided - to date I have not seen anything on this particular forum documenting other than fidelity so I'm interested to know as well but I doubt we will see any soon given how slow this forum usually is
I understand it may look like you're "trusting the sales guy", but really having been a supporting sponsor of this forum for years, and proving hundreds of members their coverage, we wouldn't pick up a provider we didn't trust would meet the already set expectations, or a coverage we would not use ourself.

Not sure how to put this but I feel like we were the the greatest factor in Fidelity's name being on the forum. When switching to a more stable provider for new 2025 customers, we went with GWC/Easy Care, they were at the top of my list because I knew covered components, repair payouts, OME Labor Books, 3rd party inspection company, and warranty claim process are all the same between both companies. Our GWC dealer manager was at Fidelity prior to moving to GWC as well.
I understand it may look like you're "trusting the sales guy", but really having been a supporting sponsor of this forum for years, and proving hundreds of members their coverage, we wouldn't pick up a provider we didn't trust would meet the already set expectations, or a coverage we would not use ourself.

FWIW, Fidelity Platinum is still an option for ‘21 E63s.
I am laughing, yet crying inside, knowing how much time I spent trying to warranty the well document RMS nightmare. They are amazing cars and I personally have invested in the long term to cross my fingers and enjoy every mile!
I have purchased a Fidelity warranty from Trenton for my other car. His reputation, ease to work with, and communication on this forum is well documented and consistent. Wish him and Highline continued success!

Coverage can be used north of the border but the vehicle needs to be registered in the US.
