Hello First issue is my easy exit feature. I can't seem to control it. There is nothing in my on screen settings for it but it does show up on the App. Doesn't seem to matter what I set it to the seat back moves up to near vertical. The app ays "Waiting for Synchronization" and never changes. Issue 2 is a Random Keyless entry doesn't work. I changed the battery in the Fob and still sometimes No doors or the truck and foot activation don't work. I then try it by pushing the unlokck on the Fob and all is well. If I then try the Keyless unlock it will work. Any help welcomed. Thanks

So there is a little known lock code for the fob.. press the lock button twice and it DISABLES the fob... only way to re-enable it is by pressing the unlock button on it.

Has anyone else had the issue with the easy entry not responding? It also seems that when I turn off power fold mirrors in the app they do not respond.

 

Not sure what's going on with your Easy Entry/Exit, why it's not showing up under the vehicle settings. However, Easy Entry/Exit has its quirks. It doesn't always move the seat depending on your seating position. I've also heard that on some models, only the backrest moves to avoid crushing the feet of somebody that might be sitting behind you. In my 2019 C63S Coupe, only the steering wheel moves up for example, because my seating position is already such that I can easily get in and out. As for changing the settings through the app, they technically only synchronize if under System|Personalization you have Automatic Synchronization enabled and then they synchronize next time the car is started, or you can manually trigger an import of the settings from the server in the same place in the car. However, this part of the app has never worked for me and it has now been discontinued apparently. People who've recently renewed their subscription have reported that Personalization is permanently disabled, and the functionality has disappeared from the app.

As for your keyless issue, you might be accidently pressing the lock button repeatable with the fob in your pocket. As mentioned above. Pressing the lock button twice disables the keyless function and the only way to reactivate it is to press the unlock button on the fob. Do you keep the fob on a keyring with a bunch of other keys that end up pressing against the keyfob buttons while in your pocket? I haven't presonally run into this issue as I don't carry a keyring anymore. My house keys etc. are digital and/or keypads on the locks.

Also, the key fob automatically goes to sleep if it doesn't sense any motion for 2 minutes. So if you are putting it down somewhere long enough it will stop sending out a signal until you shake it.

 

Thanks for the reply! I do think That was my issue with the Fob. Curious if anyone with a 2021 could chime in if they have a screen setting for easy entry and if they do have a selection for folding mirrors that displays in the car. Also what does move when the easy exit is working properly. Looks like I may need to schedule an Appointment.

 

I have a little SMH when features that seem pretty "out there" (I'm old enough to remember when power windows were a super luxury item) don't work and cause worry, consternation and even money to maintain.

Even my McLaren has this easy entry feature, which fortunately can be toggled off in the Settings. On the McLaren, I think it's wild to include such a feature when it's 1% of the real challenge of getting over the wide carbon tub sill.

 

My warranty is running out in a couple of months so I am making sure everything is working as it should. I just don't want to complain about something that is actually working correctly. This issue does not seem to be normal but would like some input on othere experience.
