Thinking about 20's for my w211, please help...

Can anyone tell me what kind of fit these wheels will have on my car? (FYI, I have the airmatic suspension as well and it is lowered but that can be adjusted). I don't want the tires sitting too far in nor do I want them bulging out. A nice flush-to-the-fenders look is what I'm going for.

Tires
245/35/ZR20 Front
275/30/ZR20 Rear

Rims
8.5" x 20" et40
10" x 20" et40

Can someone explain to me in plain English how I can tell how these will fit on my ride based on the offset and the tire/rim size? Also, anyone know from experience or from others with experience whether or not these are going to cause a "harsh" ride?

Thanks in advance.

Brian.

depends on the weather
those will not fit without some modifications to the car expect fender roll, spacer for the front, alignment change, inner liner modification, steering limiter and probably some other stuff .... and the tires are a full inch too tall

I am also in the market for larger wheels/tires, not sure if I want 19 or 20 inch yet. I have standard spring suspension and would like to avoid changing the handling/riding characteristics as little as possible. What would you recommend Luke?

I had the same size tires on my E320 and they worked fine. I had to shave t he bolts on the control arms in the front..
Not sure if the offests would cause them not to fit..

My boy has 20's on a w211 E500. I think they are mkw's and I dont really think he had to have anything done to them. they dont bulge. they tuck pretty well actually. his car looks really high though as can be expected. I get some more info and get back to you guys.
