I just got a set of BFG G-Force Sports from Tire Rack (great service, btw). It would appear that they are underinflated. The shop that mounted, balanced & installed them set them at the Mfg rec. pressure, but they just look low.
The tires themselves are rated for 44 psi. The car is "spec'd" for 28psi front & 30psi rear.
The car is an '05 E320 cdi, with 18" AMG wheels & 245/40's front & 235/60's rear.
Any recommendations? Air 'em up, or leave as-is?
Thanks,
Andy

Maybe an easier question?
What is the recommended pressure for the E55? I can't find it on MBusa and a search here under W211, E55 & this forum don't seem to mention much outside of TPMS & drag/track info.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks,
Andy

rule of thumb would be follow the car manufacturers recommended pressure unless you are looking for a specific affect for given conditions like reducing understeer

Sorry to cut into the thread, but I've got a tire pressure questions as well
I have 235/35/19 on the front and 265/30/19 on the rear
It's for a CLK 500, factory 17" wheel spec is 30psi front 33psi rear
should I still stick to these or use something else?
I've read people have 33-35 for front and 36-38 for rear for 19"s. Is that recommended?
Thanks
